Tammy Shepherd is an Enrolled Nurse who joins the Medical Super Clinic team, bringing a passion for patient care and a dedication to delivering safe and effective healthcare practices.

Completing her Diploma of Nursing at TAFE Queensland in November 2021, Tammy is well-organised with a systematic approach to tasks, prioritising qualities such as integrity, compassion, and ethical commitment. 

Tammy exhibits proficiency in infection control, patient care, wound care, and immunisations, and takes a proactive nursing approach by consistently providing support and education to clients and their families 

Her responsibilities include coordinating care plans, conducting physical assessments, demonstrating a keen eye for detail and a sound understanding of clinical procedures. 

During her tenure at Pindara Hospital, Tammy played a vital role in enhancing patient well-being by contributing to wound care, delivering educational support, administering medications, and aiding with daily living activities.  

Additionally, her dedication to compassionate and professional patient interaction was evident in her position as a Patient Services Assistant in the Oncology/Palliative Care Ward. 

Tammy, with her adept communication skills, keen attention to detail, and the capability to function independently or collaboratively within a team, emerges as a valuable asset in the healthcare domain.
