Endometriosis and Pelvic Pain Clinics
Medical Super Clinic is proud to be one of 22 clinics nationally to provide expert, multidisciplinary services and dedicated care to women suffering from endometriosis and pelvic pain.
Endometriosis affects at least 1 in 9 Australian women and can have an extensive, devastating impact on the daily lives of sufferers, who often wait an average of seven years before diagnosis.
Working in our existing general practice, we will strengthen what is often the first point of contact in the health system to reduce diagnostic delays and promote early access to multidisciplinary intervention, care and treatment.
As well as directly helping patients, we will raise awareness of endometriosis and pelvic pain, build professional knowledge and skills in this area, and improve access to information and care pathways.
Do I need a referral?
You do not require a referral for an initial assessment at our clinic. We are able to forward your assessment to your regular General Practitioner should you wish. Based on your assessment, we may make further recommendations for further treatment and follow-up with our multi-disciplinary team of specialist doctors, nurses and allied health practitioners.
How much does it cost?
Your initial consultation with our practitioners is bulk billed, which means that if you have a Medicare card, you will not incur any expense for your initial assessment. Further treatments is based upon the assessment of the results of your assessment and varies according to your personal condition/s.
What is involved in my assessment?
Your initial consultation will be a comprehensive appointment with our practitioners. This will include a detailed medical history, clinical examination and diagnostic investigations.
