Dr David Rabbolini
Haematologist

Dr David Rabbolini is a classical haematologist specialising in bleeding and thrombotic disorders. With expertise in various conditions such as venous and arterial thrombotic disorders, bleeding disorders, immune/autoimmune disorders, bleeding disorders in pregnancy, and acquired bleeding disorders, he provides comprehensive care to individuals with non-malignant haematological disorders.

Dr Rabbolini completed his Bachelor’s degrees in Science and Medicine and Surgery in 2003. He obtained dual fellowships with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) and the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia (FRCPA) after advanced training in haematology at the Royal North Shore Hospital, Sydney, in 2015.

With a strong interest in researching bleeding disorders, Dr Rabbolini completed his PhD in 2018, focusing on inherited platelet bleeding disorders. He co-founded the Sydney Platelet Group, a research collaborative dedicated to investigating these disorders.

In 2022, Dr Rabbolini served as the clinical lead in hemophilia and deep vein thrombosis (DVT) at the Oxford Haemophilia and Thrombosis Centre, Oxford University Hospitals, UK. He returned to Australia in late 2023 to establish his practice, dedicated to providing comprehensive care to individuals with bleeding and clotting disorders.
